$55 Million for Renovations at the Borgata Hotel Resort & Spa

The Water Club structure at The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will get a $55 million makeover.   The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has approved a $55 million makeover of The Water Club for its 20th-anniversary celebrations.   In the heart of Atlantic City, the MGM Tower will provide more than 700 guest rooms and apartments.   "Introducing the MGM Tower connects Borgata with the unmatched entertainment and resort experiences MGM Resorts is known for throughout the world," said Corey Sanders, COO of MGM Resorts International.

  "We are incredibly proud of Borgata and its staff, and we think this sizable investment will continue to boost tourism in Atlantic City for years."   The entire hotel will be remodeled, including common spaces like the lobby and hallways.   Beginning in April, guests can make reservations for the MGM Tower accommodations. The project is scheduled to be finished by May 29.   The resort's President & COO, Travis Lunn, stated: "To maintain our position as a pioneer in hospitality and amusement as we approach the resort's 20th anniversary, we are more determined than ever to keep improving the Borgata experience.
